Apple has updated and reshuffled its line of portables today. First off the 13-inch aluminum unibody MacBook is now retagged as a MacBook Pro, leaving only the 13-inch plastic model being called a MacBook.
The 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pros now feature an SD card slot to be replacing the ExpressCard slot. Don't worry Firewire 800 is included on both the 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro. This is great news. Both MacBook Pros now feature a sealed battery that was introduced on the 17-inch in the past.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro now starts at $1,699 featuring the 2.53Ghz Core 2 Duo and GeForce 9400 graphics only. Step-up models priced at $1,999 and $2,299 feature the 9400M and 9600M GT combo.
